Senior College

 

  • Rules and Regulations: - (Vide University Circular No. 175/95-96)

 

  1. Application for admission to the college should be made on a prescribed admission form by all the students including those who were in this college during the previous year. This is done immediately after the declaration of the results of the pertinent examination of the previous year. The prospectus contains the prescribed application form.

  2. The admission form, duly completed in all respects and accompanied by requisite documents should be submitted to the college on or before the last date notified by the college.

  3. The list of requisite documents to be attached to the admission form is described in the next section.

  4. The admission forms which are incomplete or incorrectly filled or submitted late will be summarily rejected.

  5. The admission form will be scrutinized by the College office and signed by the appropriate authorities and the merit list will be drawn from amongst all the applicants.

  6. Scrutiny will be made on the basis of merit and rules of reservations as laid down by the Government.

  7. Selected students should confirm their admission by paying necessary fees and submitting required certificates/documents within due date after display of the admission list.  Failing to which lead to cancellation of admission and waitlisted student will be admitted instead.

  8. Admission will be confirmed and finalized on submission of original certificates only.

  9. The schedule and the details of the admission process will be put up on the notice board at proper time.

 

Documents required at the time of Admission:

  • Statement of marks (HSC) original +2 certified photocopies

  • School/College Leaving Certificate original + 2 certified photocopies

  • Caste Certificate

  • Eligibility form (White)

  • Fees Concession Form (if any)

  • Affidavit of Gap Certificate (if applicable)

 

 

Post Graduate

 

 

Master of Science in Botany


Admission Criteria
The candidate should have passed Bachelor degree or equivalent from any recognized university. Selection will be based as per the university norms.

 

Master of Science in Chemistry (Analytical Chemistry)


Admission Criteria
The candidate should have passed Bachelor degree or equivalent from any recognized university. Selection will be based as per the university norms.

 

Master of Science in Chemistry (Organic Chemistry)


Admission Criteria
The candidate should have passed Bachelor degree or equivalent from any recognized university. Selection will be based as per the university norms.

 

Master of Science in Physics


Admission Criteria
The candidate should have passed Bachelor degree or equivalent from any recognized university. Selection will be based as per the university norms.

 

Master of Arts in Economics


Admission Criteria
The candidate should have passed Bachelor degree or equivalent from any recognized university. Selection will be based as per the university norms.

 

Master of Arts in English


Admission Criteria
The candidate should have passed Bachelor degree or equivalent from any recognized university. Selection will be based as per the university norms.

 

Master of Arts/ Master of Science in Geography


Admission Criteria
The candidate should have passed Bachelor degree or equivalent from any recognized university. Selection will be based as per the university norms.

 

Master of Arts in Hindi

 

Admission Criteria
The candidate should have passed Bachelor degree or equivalent from any recognized university. Selection will be based as per the university norms.

 

Master of Arts in Marathi

 

Admission Criteria
The candidate should have passed Bachelor degree or equivalent from any recognized university. Selection will be based as per the university norms.

 

Master of Commerce in Advanced Accounting & Taxation


Admission Criteria
The candidate should have passed Bachelor degree or equivalent from any recognized university. Selection will be based as per the university norms.

 

Master of Commerce in Business Administration


Admission Criteria
The candidate should have passed Bachelor degree or equivalent from any recognized university. Selection will be based as per the university norms.

 

Junior College

 

Admission to Std. XI (F.Y.J.C.) is through centralized admission process. Students having passed Std. X (SSC/CBSE/ICSE/NOS or other equivalent examinations) are eligible for admission to F.Y.J.C. as per the merit and availability of seats. Student can seek admission to Std. XII directly as per merit and availability of seats. The admission will be finalized only after compliance of all the relevant certificates and documents.

 

Documents required at the time of Admission:

 

  • Statement of marks of SSC or other examination considered equivalent by the board

  • School leaving certificate

  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)

  • Physically Handicap Certificate (if applicable)

  • Freedom Fighter/Ex-Serviceman Certificate of Parent (if applicable)

  • Certificate in the prescribed “Appendix A” of eligibility form of the board (for candidates coming from the board other than Pune)

  • Migration Certificate (if applicable)

 

Students may get bonus marks if they attach following certificate

 

  • State Level Sports Certificate (if applicable)

  • State Level Drama/Speech Certificate (if applicable) 

Fees:

Fees will be charged as per the rules Prescribed by Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune and Government of Maharashtra.

 

Rules of Refund of Fee:

  1. A student once admitted is required to pay the fees for the whole term even if he/she subsequently leaves the College in the middle of the year or his/her name is struck off the college roll.

  2. No fee will be refunded in case of cancellation of admission of the EBC student. The original documents/certificates will not be returned unless the fee is paid for the whole academic year.

  3. Fees once paid will not be refunded in any circumstances.

  4. The caution money or any other deposit will be refunded only after one year of the date, the student leaves the College. In case he/she fails to claim the amount within the stipulated period, the same will be transferred to the Students Aid Fund and will not be refunded. The student however will get the receipt of the amount.

 

Important:

  1. The Principal by the powers vested in him reserves the right to grant or refuse admission to a student without showing any cause.

  2. A student shall be debarred from the college on the grounds of misbehavior, misconduct, misdeed, moral turpitude and antisocial activities.

  3. Principal's decision will be final in all matters.
